Charging Stations Coming to Brand New Comfort Inn & Suites
Nearing the completion of the brand new Lake Point, Utah Comfort Inn & Suites, management has decided to install charging stations in all guest rooms. The 64 units that will comprise the hotel have been designed to cater to the needs of the modern traveler. Under the guidance and management of Hotel Managers Group (HMG), the owners of the new property are participating in a relatively new program called “Your Suite for Success.”
In studying trends in the hotel and hospitality industry, it has become clear that today’s businessmen, as well as the casual traveler, want the convenience of being able to hook-up to the internet no matter where they happen to be. In hotel rooms, trying to reach behind the dresser to access an outlet and maybe connect a phone line, can be an annoying inconvenience. Under the new program, charging stations will be easily accessible and allow the guest to recharge their electronic equipment in a quick and efficient manner.
Each unit of the hotel will have a charging station that consists of 3 electrical outlets and 2 USB ports. The small footprint of the device will be secured to the desktop. Guests can recharge cell phones, laptop computers or any other number of devices that require electricity. They can also use the USB ports to gain connectivity between 2 electronic devices such as downloading pictures from a digital camera to a laptop computer.
Lake Point Utah and the soon-to-be-opened Comfort Inn & Suites is located at the Southern tip of the Great Salt Lake. It offers abundant recreational opportunities in Toole County, Utah that take advantage of the Lake and Mountain setting. Other area attractions include the world’s largest man-made excavation – the Kennecott Mine, and Miller Motorsports Park, home of Utah NASCAR racing. HMG and the owners of the new Comfort Inn & Suites are anticipating high demand for their rooms from both tourists and business travelers.
The HMG 3rd party team that will be managing the new Comfort Inn & Suites in Lake Point, Utah has always tried to meet the demands of the customer.
